Green Centennial Forest Peninsula planted
100 trees in April, 2009. Birch and spruce trees were
planted near the Nature Center. The Gibraltar School
Ecology Club also planted a dozen centennial trees near
the school. Look for metal tags marking these trees.
Thanks to DNR Forester Bill Ruff, the WI State Nursery
and the Peninsula Research Station for assistance.
