The Friends of Peninsula State Park have established two
endowment funds. The first is The Interpretive Nature Center
Fund which will support future construction and
maintenance of a new Interpretive Nature Center.
The second fund is the
For Now and the Future Fund to
provide for the general security and support of the
organization’s overall activities.
The Door County Community Foundation is responsible for the
investment management of both funds. The operation and
distribution of assets will be done by the Friends’ Board of
Directors working with park management.
