- Friends Board Member - Established in 2007, the Friends are working to organize the group, develop start-up objectives, and support key Peninsula education programs.
- Friends Committee Member - Short term projects and hands-on tasks.

- Spook-tacular Halloween Hike - Assist with set up, decorations, sewing costumes, staffing a spooky-fun station, parking cars, clean up.
- Historical Research and Archives—Library/internet research, cataloguing historical photos, special assignments.
- Peninsula Steward—Inventory trails for invasive species, pull garlic mustard, survey native plants, and other resource management projects. Scout/Youth Groups welcome

- Camp Host—Camp at an assigned site in one of four Peninsula campgrounds in exchange for performing light maintenance and offering visitor information.
- Nature Center Host—Camp at an assigned site in exchange for staffing the Nature Center, performing light maintenance, and assisting at programs.
